Pismo Beach Trip

On Tuesday I took a trip down to Pismo Beach for a quick getaway. It was a good idea when it was planned but not so much once we were on the road, literally. As a group we wanted to go so bad that we ignored all the signs telling us not to go. My father had warned us that the vehicle's tires were not reliable but we ignored it and left for the beach anyway. About an hour into our trip we had the misfortune of one of our tires popping which caused us to almost get into an accident but luckily everything went to our favor and no one was hurt; some sodas rolled around and our tire was completely destroyed.
As soon as we were out of danger I got on the phone with AAA and they said they said they would send someone to come change our tire. It too the guy over an hour to get to us. It was a very long and frustrating hour but finally he arrived and replaced our tire in a matter of minutes.
We were back on the road and continued driving until we reached our hotel. We checked in to our room and unpacked. We rested and freshened up before heading to dinner. As a group we decided to go to a place called The Cracked Crab , I ordered the seafood pasta which did not disappoint. After dinner we went back to the room and changed into our swimsuits for the hot tub. That was very relaxing. After about an hour we got back upstairs to our room. We got ready for bed and had a few drinks. We went to sleep pretty early seeing how we needed to check out the next morning. We woke up the next morning and the view was beatiful.
We all woke up around 9am the next morning. We had two hours before we had to check out of the room so quickly we got dressed and packed our belongings. I wanted to soak in the scenery for a few more minutes before we left the hotel so I went out to the patio and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. By the time it was 11 we were already packed and ready to go. We were going to spend the rest of the day at the beach but we had one of our people get sick so we thought it would be best to just head home. The way home was peaceful and the weather was beautiful. We stopped to get lunch at In-N-Out and we got some Starbucks as well. I was pretty exhausted when I got home. Sometime during the summer I plan on making another trip down there.

Q&A With Nana 2014 Edition

1) Assuming you got sentenced to prison at some point in your life, what were the charges against you?
If I were to serve time behind bars I do think it would be due to my excessive lying. I would probably get my lies tangled up not to mention I would probably owe money to the wrong people and my lies would not get me out of that situation.

2) If you were to take Monica Lewinsky out for lunch, where would you take her?
I think Monica and I would have fun at a buffet. It seems as though we both have an appetite so I would hate to deprive either one of us from getting seconds or even thirds. I think both us could snack on a pile of crab legs while gossiping on what really happened between her and Hilary Clinton.

3) If you could have been born on a different time period, what period would you chose and why?
I would love to have been born during the early 1910s that way I could be a teenager during the roaring 20's and have witnessed WWII plus the outfits then were pretty amazeballs!

4) You were lucky enough to be reincarnated after your death. What would you come back as and why?
I don't believe in reincarnation.

5) It's a zombie apocalypse and your shelter can only hold four people. Out of the five participants in this questionnaire, who would you get rid of and how?
Araceli would go. I feel like she would be a distraction to the group. Plus, may I remind everyone that Araceli spilled TWO beers on New Year's Eve.

Now on to the questions Pifis asked me:

1. How would you feel if you ever had the opportunity to meet Angelina Jolie and she was less than impressed with you?
Angelia Jolie and I have met before and she is very much impressed with me and EVERYTHING that I bring to the table!

2. Do you think technology is ruining our social lives?
I can see why some people would think that, however I think that technology has enriched our social lives. Whenever I'm watching 90210 I want to go shopping at Beverly Hills, I'll go on Instagram and see a certain scenery on the popular page and I know if it is in the US i could just hop in my car program my GPS and drive away. I think technology helps us have a social life by inspiring us to explore what is unknown to us.

3. What song would you audition with? (The Voice, American Idol, X Factor...)
I feel like I would sound pretty good singing a variety of songs such as Sweet Child O' Mine, You Wanna Make A Memory, Break The Chain . I enjoy a challenging song every now and then. It would really depend on what is going on in my life at the time.

4. How do you think your life would have turned out if you had been born and raised in Mexico instead of in the United States?
I feel like had I been born in Mexico my life would be a lot healthier therefore I would have the energy to be productive enough to go milk them cows and stand in the tortilla line.

5. Do you believe in supernatural forces/energies out there? (ghosts, spirits, demons...) Why or why not?
I do believe in the supernatural because I have experienced it before.

Lastly, the questions I'm going to ask Araceli
1) What is your favorite activity to do with Rita?
2) If you could spend a whole week with Kenzi what would you two do?
3)What is a typical day between you Giada, and Jade?
4)If you were to spend the night in handcuffs would it be for a legal or sexual reason?
5)What has been your proudest dancing performance thus far?

Sorry for the delay of the post.

December Favourites

Hello everyone!
Its that time of the month again when I share my monthly favorites with you guys! A lot has happened this month due to the semester ending and the holidays. Due to all of this I have done less of things and more if that makes any sense. One of the things that I did do was watch more Netflix. Down below I'll list some of the the shows that I've been loving! I have also been enjoying watching movies, currently I am watching Blue Valentine.

Dawson's Creek
90210
Lost Girl
One Tree Hill

I have not been listening to very much music like I would have but nonetheless I increased my play count on some songs. Unfortunately my most played song is the same as it was last month and I say unfortunately because the song is good but it is not great ya know. In my defense, my sister just gave me tons of new music and my iTunes is ALWAYS on shuffle so the odds of a song coming on are not very high. With that being said, below are some songs that I have been enjoying this month

You Never Need Nobody
All At Once
I'm Yours
Strawberry Swing
My Time In Exile

Food is a must in any monthly favorites blog post right? I had a ton of holiday dishes this month and I am not complaining about it either!I have had tamales, posole, ham, flan, tons of soda, brownies, and god knows what else. I did gift myself an espresso maker so I have been making quite a few lattes and I'll admit they're not coffee shop material but I have high hopes that in 2014 they get better.

Fashion-wise this month I have loving cozy sweaters. I love how warm they are on their own but layer a scarf put on a nice pair of boots and some skinny jeans and it a cute winter outfit plus its super comfy! You can dress up the outfit or dress it down, all up to you. December is a month of relaxation so your outfit should not be a worry.
