Updates on my Life; November Favourites

First off lets start of with The Sims. I haven't played as much lately as I wish i could but that is because of two reasons one being school and the second and main reason is because of the goals I have to achieve! I am on level 22 already and I have unlocked some new features the main one is being able to build a pool in my backyard and at some point I unlocked stairs so now i can make my houses more than just one story. That being said, the new features are cool but they are very pricey so I've only been able to build a small pool and not second story yet. You guys know I had that dreadful goal where i had to save up 150,000 to buy a damn children's store; that is no over with and I was able to finally move on to new goals. I have been given either very expensive goals or time-consuming goals lately which is why I have not been playing as much.


School-wise I only have 4 days left of class then finals after so that is very exciting! After that I have finals but I am still not sure on what days those will be.

Music-wise I have not been listening to too much music lately but I'll list below some songs that I have been liking. Also I think each month I will post which song is my most played song on iTunes. As of now, the song is Damn Rough Night by Artist v Poet with 17 plays but I am hoping to change that. Nothing against the song but I do not think it deserves to be the most played.

So this week I chose Victoria's Secret Model Candice Swanepoel (the blonde). Lately most of the Victoria's Secret models have been catching my eye. The top three contestants are the two above and Adriana Lima but i do like the blondes more which is why I chose the way I did. Consider it cheating or not but I am a young woman in my early twenties with a future of so many possibilities and potential so if I ever bump into ANY of the Victoria's Secret models I will use my charm have my way with them.

I Think I Created A Monster

Less than a week ago I made my sister download the Sims app on to her phone and she did and last night Araceli downloaded as a recommendation and today i hear that they are both really enjoying it! I am glad they are enjoying it but there is a problem.... this game is HIGHLY addictive! I do not know how long I have been playing but it has been months and I still play on a daily basis. I hope they keep enjoying it because now that the three of us are playing we could have a lot of fun. Currently, I am on level 20 and I have unlocked pools and a second story. I am currently stuck on a goal in where i have to save up 150,000 to build a children's store and I have about 6,000 to go so I am hopeful that I can start constructing the today and finally get on with my life!

OTH Season 1

Two days ago, I finished the first season of the show One Tree Hill. Growing up, this was one of my top three favorite shows so it is often that i re watch it but this time around I thought it would be only appropriate to review. The show has five main characters: Lucas, Nathan, Peyton, Haley, and Brooke. Parents of some of the characters are also essential to the story line like Karen (Lucas' mother), Deb ( Nathan's mother), Dan (both Lucas and Nathan's father), and Keith who is Dan's brother. Nathan and Lucas are half brothers but dislike each other due to their parent's past history. Lucas is a noble boy who was raised with morals unlike his brother Nathan who was raised as a wealthy spoiled boy who did as he wanted. When the show began, Nathan and Peyton were dating but there was a love triangle between them two and Lucas so Nathan and her so their relationship didn't last long. Nathan and Haley started dating and spoiler alert: the get married! Towards the middle of the season there is another love triangle between Brooke, Lucas, and Peyton that ends bad. Haley and Lucas are best friend but they drifted once she began dating Nathan. This is a very drama filled teenage show that I very much recommend. The very first time i watched the show it took me only three days to watch all of the first season which is when the addiction began. I do recommend this show but keep in mind this show is intended for a teenage audience but give it a try, I am twenty years old and still love the show. On a different note I began watching the show Dracula this morning and even though it has only been an episode I already know that I am going to keep up with it. Speaking of vampire shows, I also decided that I will re watch True Blood so keep a lookout for that review as well. On a final note, thank you so much for the support on the blog and on my videos. NYC New York Color Big Bold Gloss

 Hello lovelies! How are you all? I'm great I've had a productive day today not to mention the weather is beautiful! Anyway, the point of this post is to update you guys on another product that I received in my Influenster box, this time a lip gloss. This lip gloss was my favorite product in the whole box! Its called NYC New York Color Big Bold Gloss and i got it in the shade. The main purpose of this product is to plump your lips which is does but not very noticeably, however like any other lip plumper it has that tingly feeling which is nice. The color is sheen and glossy but it is not sticky. The gloss claims to have an 8-hour staying power but I today I proved that to be a bit exaggerated. I applied a layer at 9:30 this morning and by lunch time which was almost noon most of it had worn off and this was before eating or drinking anything. The gloss had dimmed down a lot but some of it was all there. Of course, after lunch all of it had wiped off. I would say that if you apply a generous layer it should last you about four hours. The tube and the applicator are huge which are helpful for application not to mention more product! Looking for a new lip color? Go ahead give this one a try!

Saturday Outing

Yesterday I spent about fourteen hours in a very boring outing. Due to my father's work the family had to go attend a Portuguese festa. I am not Portuguese therefore I did not understand many of their traditions even though this was my third time attending. The food was alright, there was a buffet so the selection was decent. I enjoyed the seafood and the unlimited soda. Respectfully, I did not have fun. The driving was two hours there and almost three back. I do not think I will be attending another festa soon.

Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Wash Review

Hello lovelies! Hope all is well! I have been absent for a few days now but it is because I have been sampling products that Influenster sent me over the weekend and I want to give you guys my honest opinion on them, therefore I thought i should try them thoroughly. I was sent five products in which I will review all individually as i finish them. The first one I used up was the Clearasil face wash. I was sent three individually packaged samples. Each sample contained a dollar off coupon which will come in handy. I used this face wash continually for a day and a half; twice at night and once in the morning. There was nothing that stood out to me from this face wash. I liked it but not enough to rave about it. That being said there weren't many cons with it. The smell is great, it smells like raspberry, very sweet. It was not drying and most importantly it did not cause me to break out! I do not have very sensitive skin but I have had reactions to other facial washes in the past so I am hesitant to try new products out. For me the cons I found were that it did not lather as much as I would have liked it too. I like when my products lather, it makes me feel as if it cleaned my skin better. It is a nice face wash to use on a daily basis if you have mild acne. The full size bottle retails for $6.49 and with the dollar off coupon that came with the samples i will get it for a bit over five dollars. I will try the full size and use it as my daily face wash. I would not rely on it to control acne however I would only recommend this face wash to maintain clear skin.

Influenster VoxBox

I was sent earlier today a box from the company Influenster in which i am to review the products and give them my honest feedback. I uploaded an unboxing video up on Youtube but since I just received the products today I have not been able to review them. I thought it would be a good idea to review them more in depth here on my blog rather than making a video for each particular item. I will use an item until I am done with then give it my honest review.

APP Addictions: The Sims Freeplay

For several months now, I have been addicted to an app called Sims Freeplay which is the free version of the original Sims. I love this game! it is an ongoing game that quite honestly has no point but that is what is so great about it. It is a never ending game in where you basically raise different characters that interact with one another. There are levels and goals which is what keeps the game interesting. Some goals are extremely easy all you do is plants a certain crop or something like that but then others like the one I am currently working on is constructing a $100,000 building. Those tougher goals keep you addicted because you become obsessed with passing goals and gaining points. Also, at certain times of the year there are limited time goals where if you complete them in the given time span you unlock something special like an island. Every level you reach you unlock new items, currently I am trying to unlock a swimming pool. The characters that you create have personal lives in which you control. Depending on the actions you choose they can have relationships with thee other characters, some romantic others just a friendship. If you ever decide to marry two characters you can have children and the kid has a life of its own with school, hobbies and everything. The adult characters have jobs which they can attend if they need extra money. They too have hobbies which help them in the competition center. The competition can be very rewarding if your character is good at that hobby. It is a great game but there are a few downsides. The game takes up a lot of memory and when you update the app it takes a very long time up to twenty minutes sometime but that only means that great changes are coming. If you have room on your appliance download the app!

Skinny Cow

Iv'e only tried the brand Skinny Cow once but that was enough for me. I had an ice cream bar as a snack to hold me over until dinner which was about an hour or so away and it fooled me. I am not one to diet, nonetheless i chose this brand. It gave me that full feeling but I wasn't actually full. I had In-N-Out about an hour after eating my Skinny Cow ice cream bar and i ordered just a cheeseburger rather than my usual double double burger. I ended up finishing my ENTIRE meal and yet was not full. Skinny Cow made me believe that I was not hungry but I actually was. I do not recommend their ice cream bars but feel free to try them for yourselves and maybe you will have a different experience.
